Dysphagia Training Courses

Dysphagia is a medical condition in which a person finds difficulty and pain during swallowing. Many patients that suffer from dysphagia have difficulty swallowing even the medication in pill form and find that liquid medicines can assuage the problem. Liquid medication is supplied with a specific measuring spoon to ensure that the right dosage is given every time. If you find it hard to use the spoon offered ask the pharmacist for an oral syringe or medicine cup so that the dose can be measured more precisely. Certain guidelines for safe swallowing:  Ensure you chew your food appropriately and try that you eat one type of food at a time rather than mixing variety of food. Avoid talking while eating food as it may cause pain to you; also try to avoid distractions like watching TV while eating.
